You didn’t get the memo?

The American Heritage Dictionary defines a zoo as “A park or an institution in which living animals are kept and usually exhibited to the public. Also called zoological garden.”

Officials at the The Chiang Mai Night Safari Zoo in Thailand seem to have missed that minor point and will be serving exotic animal meat at their opening gala. The menu will include tiger, lion, elephant, and giraffe.

Of course, what reason would one have for keeping animals captive if not the consumption of them?
